Club Registration

The club registration period for the Fall 2024 semester has started! Email vp.studentlife@dawsonstudentunion.com if you have any questions/concerns. Registration for student-led services is with VP Operations & Services vp.ops-services@dawsonstudentunion.com, registration for Independent Student Groups is closed at the moment.

If you want to start a club here are the steps that must be followed!

Step 1:  Fill out the Club Registration Form below (not your own template!)

Step 2: Fill out the petition in support of the recognition of the club (below) by getting it signed by 50 DSU members (students), highlighting 10 who wish to be active club members. List the club executives on a separate sheet, with your student ID and Dawson email.

Step 3: Prepare a Club Constitution (template available below).

Hand your documents in to the VP Student Life (either in person or by email (preferrably) - vp.studentlife@dawsonstudentunion.com) 

BEFORE NOVEMBER 10, 2024

Submissions past this date will not be accepted. (This means no accomodations, and no exceptions)

New clubs get "Interim" status - hence no budget is attributed for the first 15 weeks. No purchase during those 15 weeks can be retroactively reimbursed.
