ART & PERFORMANCE CLUBS

The goal of ACE is to provide an outlet to any and all artists in Dawson College. We welcome all artists regardless of their favourite art medium or field of study. We hope to create an accepting and caring environment in which artists at Dawson College will be able to share and grow with each other to better understand their self-identity and personal style as creative minds. Members can not only mingle and critique, but can share their insecurities, anxieties, or any other problems and receive support from the community of artists. Workshops, contests, and other events will help practice new skills, promote their proudest work, be more creative, and have fun in between school work.

Moonbow a street dance club based at Dawson College. We would like to provide a platform for the students who are interested in street dance to learn systemically about it, and to create a friendly environment to relax and enjoy after intensive and stressful study period. We are also opened to all other kinds of dances, some examples will be C-pop, K-pop and J-pop etc. Everyone is welcomed with no experience required as long as you love dancing. Join for future workshop, dance battle, random dance play, dance cover, showcase or simply just have fun and meet up with other people!

DVIC's main objective is to create a community that allows students from different music backgrounds with the same interest to perform, connect and share their talents. Music being a universal language that connects all, we aim to promote appreciation of a variety of genres such as jazz, classical orchestra and choir.
