Our club is here to show what Japan has to offer even if it’s across the world. We bring Japan to Dawson. Many activities such as food, clothes, lifestyle and amazing attractions.

Dawson Scifi & Fantasy Club is a place where anything nerdy can bloom. Whether you like card games like Magic, Table-Top Games like Dungeons and Dragons, video games, tv shows, movies, books, board games, anime, or just a place to sit! This is the club space for you! With a host of events from D&D to board games, right up to medieval day at the end of the year, were active all year round with nerdy stuff. Our space has always been a place for nerds to convene, predating even the founding of the DSU! If you want to check out the home for all things nerdy just look for the loudest space with all the nerdy books and posters to get in on the action!

Here at the Dawson Media Club, our goal is to showcase the talent and opinions around Dawson, from getting to know people's views on events to making each other laugh. The objective of this club is to learn, develop and appreciate the art of debating. In this club, there will be many debate sessions so as to improve public speaking, learn how to do research on a wide variety of topics and learn how to cooperate and work as a team. Finally, the most important goal of this club is to give a rich and fun experience to all its members.

The Dawson Chess Club is a community devoted to chess and other board games. We welcome people from all programs and skill levels to sit across the table from each other and connect while analyzing a game! There are serious chess games and friendlier “Hustle chess” games that are more on the silly and comedic side. Together with weekly casual meetings, our club hosts everything from pizza or coffee events, exhibition matches with chess masters, and tournaments that can go from college-wide to throughout the province with other colleges. Gaming Gaming and More Gaming, that's what the DEA does. Dawson's largest club doesn't get into the weeds about politics and interpersonal conflict, it's all about what links us all: A love for gaming. Everyone's welcome. Come in, sit down, and bring your A-Game!

The Dawson Film Club, also known as the DFC, is a club for all film and television lovers! We have meetings every week where we watch and discuss a film based on a theme. Some examples of events we've held are Movie Nights at the Forum (movie tickets are free for club members), Murder Mystery Night, Special Screenings for Women's Day or Black History Month, and much more!
